Finally got a toe-hold on problem 2 on the logic programming. Looks like a moderately simple idea I had days ago might actually be the right approach.

I've been trying to work on numbers and punctuation for Austin. It's surprisingly hard to get things free of weird lumps and weight inconsistencies, especially in the sans. I rather like the @-signs, but then again I frequently do.


Finished Delany's "Empire Star". Again, totally classic sci-fi. I'm embarrassed I didn't see the "surprise" ending coming sooner.
