This morning I read Hesse's novella Siddhartha in a few hours. Very Hesse, very enjoyable. It was hard to put down once I started it. Read 30 pages on the bus riding into downtown, and the rest of it in the basement café beneath Elliot Bay books. Which, by the way, is a pretty awesome bookstore. Mario's on 1st and Cherry has delicious pizza, combining Napoli's doughiness with Sorrento's delicious greasiness. Too bad I don't live in Seattle!
