I have a working laptop again, hooray. It's not entirely clear the extent to which they replaced stuff but at least the battery and external power supply are new. It only took taking a bus and walking four blocks to the middle of nowhere FedEx station to claim the package, which they apparently tried to deliver to my house by knocking so quietly that my housemate didn't hear them.

However, I still haven't heard back either way about the HyLo paper, which makes me anxious, and I seem to have lost my house and office keys.
