So my laptop actually will not turn on at all now, and Sony is presently sending me a box so I can send the poor thing to San Diego. This being after the previous tech support guy told me I would certainly be able to just take it into CompUSA if something went wrong, which I repeatedly pointed out to the current tech support guy, but whatev.

I am so happy that I just backed up everything and also that I don't have any pressing deadlines. If any of yinz out there need to get a hold of me in the next week, email is not a good idea; try the cell instead.
