I should really have been more on top of the fact that my advisor is just about to leave today for like two months. I kind of knew that he was spending some time in france this summer, but I forgot it was so soon and for so long.

Oh well! I am feeling rather self-motivated lately compared to most of my time so far in grad school, so that's good.
