Man this is getting to be kind of tedious. Now I am fighting Cygwin for the right to use X at all. Sometime during a period of time when I installed fvwm2 and copied all my files and dotfiles over, X stopped working. Uninstalling and reinstalling X didn't help, nor did uninstalling fvwm2, nor did moving all my dotfiles out of my home directory. My current suspicion is that there is something magic in the default dotfiles. My problem is that I am conclusively addicted to how the X11 environment feels, but it is such a goddamn pain to configure. DAM U LINUX NERGS
