Woo it sure is late now. It's funny that I was quite tired at the party I just went to while it was full of people, but felt much more alert as time went on — and as the population went down. It's that cocktail-party-task of sorting out what the person right in front of you is saying on top of all the noise that I find exhausting, I guess.

Anyhow, it was a fun party. As long as there are enough people around I already know and feel comfortable talking about nothing in particular with — in this case there were at least tom, neal, william, jake d, moira, and probably I would even cortney even though I hardly know her at all — I tend to freak out a little less and manage to talk to new people a bit. Also there was Twister! I did not win at Twister, despite playing several times, but I reckon that's not the main point of playing Twister at parties.
