Still in kind of a foul mood, especially about research stuff since I gave a completely awful mini-talk about my work at the meeting today, but I stumbled across a sweet jazz band playing in the basement of morewood at about 10pm. Hammond organ + guitar + sax + drums + blues = fuck yes. Clearly I ought to completely give up on there being much of a solid negative correlation between repetitiveness-of and how much I like some kind of music.

Holy crap, that was an awesome show. Much more my kind of thing than the symphony, and probably also more so than the folkety-whatsit guy that I thought I was going to see until I was completely unable to confirm that I could use Sally's ticket. I need to learn "Willow Weep For Me" now.
