This book, "The Topos of Music: Geometric Logic of Concepts, Theory, and Performace" is insanely brilliant and/or brilliantly insane. I was like, "ha ha, 'geometric logic' and 'topos', I'm sure he's just using those terms in a general philosophical sense" but NO, the guy totally whips out commutative diagrams and subfunctors and candid photographs of Grothendieck, all in the name of musical analysis. Crazy, I tell you!
