Haven't done too much of note today. Have been reading "Proofs and Types" by Girard, Lafont, Taylor. It's heady stuff. Now that I know more about coherence spaces I know a little more about how classical linear logic was originally motivated, but I'm still left grasping for where the programme of coherence space semantics itself is motivated from. My original reason for checking P&T out was to read the proof of strong normalization of System F, but I haven't gotten to that yet.
