Since the weather was so nice out today, I was walking around campus totally aimlessly around 6pm. There's this weird arty installationy thing here called the "Kraus Campo" that was built, what, a year ago or so? I still hadn't gotten around to seeing it, so I did. It was kind of neat, but underwhelming. But also since the weather was so nice, some of the windows of the fine arts building's lower level (at the same level as my feet) were left open. In one of the rooms with the open window, whose door is normally locked, was a nice upright piano, and it looked like it was in good shape, being in a room forbidden to hoi polloi (i.e. such as me) crapping it the crap up. I leave it to you to imagine the little angel-and-devil-on-the-shoulders routine that ensued. Needless to say, I hopped in the window and started playing away. (lo-fi mp3 of "blue step", still my current favorite blues variant)

Before all this I had went to some sort of event for bill peduto with ofsusan and lincoln3 and bumped into susancalvin. Mr. Peduto himself seemed pretty likeable, for a politician.
