Some kind of work ethic breakthrough happened this morning. I (a) Was standing in the shower thinking, is there a reasonably small chunk of research work I could get done easily and quickly before the Nietzschean Will To Procrastination kicks in. (b) Thought to myself, yes, I need to write a small program to do exactly task X. (c) Got out the shower, and wrote and debugged it in a half an hour. (d) Wondered why the princeton folks have a huge mess of tangled sources.cfg files in their FPCC suite with many redundant dependencies that I need to write a silly little program to linearize, and also why fully half their .elf files aren't reachable. |
