I'm too tired to figure out a good way of making the sound loop seamlessly. New flash thingy. After using Nelf a few times in flash I'm starting to see how I might want to tweak it to look better at low resolution. |

awesome. But why don't wallplate and outlet have biographies? Your room wouldn't be as nice without them. I mean, even mr. powercord gets a description.
do you have good pixel art resources?
Yeah, I kind of meant to include stuff for the originally but I got lazy.
I don't know what you mean by "resources". I read some tutorial that said basically little more than "two pixels horizontally, one pixel vertically", and I used the gimp to draw it.
"Needs recharged"? I ought to kick you for that one.
But Nelf is good. I've been using that one in my website banner ads, and well as the occasional Drivin' Me Nuts, and I think another of yours too.
Consider me kicked.
And thanks! I didn't even notice it in the "Kuma the bear" banner. The outline effect on it is surprisingly nice. Normally I don't like that sort of thing so much, but it works with the semi-photorealistic background.
This is a great drawing! I never understood how to get pixel bitmaps in flash without having them get all "anti"-aliased. You'll have to show me some time.
I used a png, made sure it was positioned at integer coordinates, and went into some properties dialog or another and changed the compression from lossy to lossless and disabled "smoothing" whatever that is. I'm not sure whether the smoothing thing was necessary, but getting it on round pixels and not jpg-compressed probably are.
Your room is a lot neater than mine!
This is what we call "artistic license", or else "Jason is too lazy to draw all the crap on the floor".
It's pretty.
I've never seen your room (or your apartment, for that matter), so it's nice to see it virtually. :)

Should it, I don't know, move or anything, maybe when I click on it? Surely other people are viewing these in Firefox an'at.
I'm viewing it in firefox myself. It's not supposed to move, but it is supposed to play a 22-second bit of music and do things if you mouseover various things in the room. | |
