Hung out with jen gibson again for a while today, discussed various major life issues as well as trivialities, drank tea. She needed to go write grad school statement-of-purpose-like things, so I'm back home now.

I am really liking this "structure of information networks" class Kleinberg is teaching. I hope by the end of the semester I'll be able to say what it's about. For now it seems to be a weird blur of the theory of chain letters, gnutella, and K-nearest-neighbor, but somehow inexplicably made extremely exciting.
