Played some jazz with Carlos Chadha, one of my 312 students from last semester. He is a pretty fucking awesome bassist. It was really fun. We went through Blue Monk, Autumn Leaves, Blues for Alice, St. Thomas, a beautiful Horace Silver ballad I hadn't heard before called Peace, and some other latin tune whose name I forgot.
