Machine Learning midterm: eminently reasonable. I feel like my knowledge of the relevant concepts of the class was actually well-measured. I'm not sure how well I did, since I guessed on a few, but I don't feel cheated by sneaky questions, just tripped up by reasonable questions that I genuinely forgot the answers to, though I'm sure I was taught them at some point.

312 lecture: graah! teaching is fucking hard. I completely got width subtyping of records backwards until I caught myself on it at the very end.

democracy: has much shorter lines than I anticipated. I enjoyed the battleship-class lever machine I got to vote on, but Julia sums up my feelings on the issue of the virtuousness of participation per se pretty well.
