The Generalists held a little musical potluck in wean 4625 tonight. I remember hearing a Black Sabbath song, some Gamelan music, an astonishingly musical-sounding recording of people working in a post office in Ghana, a song titled "Hope Crushed" or something uplifting like that, and a Beatles tune off of "Help!" that I haven't heard for years and years. I contributed Autechre's "Under BOAC", Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers "Moanin'", and Joni Mitchell's "Circle Game".
