Wow, I think I may be able to play Blackbird at a reasonable tempo at some point in my lifetime. It's comin' along. I haven't tried to chorus yet, but the verse feeds nicely into itself, so it's easy to practice over and over and over again. The rising C-A/C#-D-B-Em chord motion in the verse, (on, for instance "take these broken wings and learn to fly") definitely the most beautiful part of the song in my opinion, is also the hardest to play quickly. Or, conversely, the most effective part to practice, I guess.
