Saw "The City of Lost Children" in Wean 4623 with benoit and rachel roberts and noam and a couple people I didn't know. Neel stopped by only long enough to lament his need to trudge through the ambiguously defined muck of the current complexity theory assignment. But: great, great, beautiful movie. Judith Vittet was amazing for a child actress. Dominique Pinon was hilarious, playing a crazy amnesiac erstwhile-inventor-scientist-cum-treasure hunter, and six dim-witted narcoleptic clones thereof. Arresting visuals in every freaking shot. Go rent it right now.
