I just installed Subversion. It seems pretty nice compared to CVS. Although it doesn't matter to me since my repository is local, the fact that diff, status, and revert all work without needing to use the network is very nice. Hell, I'm glad just for the fact that revert is a standalone command (it corresponds to the idiom of deleting a file and then cvs updateing it).

    Tried watching ep 1 of "Hell on Wheels", which my dad recommended. It has a vaguely Deadwood feel, although the dialogue doesn't obviously sparkle…
