I've started to be able to play "Take Five" a little better, now. I had been in a long slump where the more I practiced it, the worse I got. Wrote a little tune, "Open Door" (midi) that runs around the circle of fifths in six bars. I think I may be stealing a bit of melody from portishead's "life in mono", which I had no idea was portishead until I looked it up just now. Man, what a great song. Takes me right back to the summer after I graduated from highs chool.
