Went to the big-ass Borders again, looking for items for myself this time. Couldn't decide between Umberto Eco's "Baudolino" or Chuck Palahniuk's "Lullaby", both additionally irrationally tempting because they fit neatly inside the $15 gift card I got from my sister.

On the drive back I saw a kid that looked exactly like the grey-old-man-faced child from Akira, staring out at me from behind a taxi's rear window. I wonder what genetic anomalathingy causes that appearance?
