I thought it was supposed to be hard to look at any fixed text in a dream, but I spent a lot of time this morning dreaming I was reading a book. I remember the dedication began "First, I'd like to thank my graphologist..." In the middle of the book the author was describing some sort of alphabet he'd invented made out of the shapes of famous author's heads. A pencil-sketch of a bespectacled James Joyce was among them.
