"High fidelity" seems to be in the air. Norm had a copy of the movie, seeing it now. It's pretty good. I guess if what puuj says is true, the book ought to be kick-ass.

Nothing much else really happened today. Much of my time sucked up by travelling. Finished the sections on Portuguese and Catalan on the plane, in the middle of French now. Wasn't aware previously of the semantic subtleties of preposing vs. postposing adjectives in various languages, e.g. un viejo amigo "a long-time friend" vs. un amigo viejo "an old (i.e. aged) friend" Flight out of Detroit delayed about an hour due to mechanical problems. Got back home 8:30ish, grabbed dinner after that. Good to be home.
