The complexity midterm is being pretty difficult. The first half is okay, but I'm not making much progress on anything in the second. I still have until Tuesday, I guess.
Checked out "The Complete Prose of Woody Allen" from Hillman, a collection of three books of (mostly) New Yorker columns by him. I read "Getting Even" just now, leaving "Without Feathers" and "Side Effects". Pretty funny stuff. It reminds me of Borges a little only in the sense that a lot of the individual pieces seem to have a certain structure, a certain style they're going after or imitating, as if it's not enough to write simply different stories about different things, but instead in a noticeably different form each time. But... yeah. Not nearly as dark as Borges.
