Still plugging through Hero with a Thousand Faces. The second half of the book, not so much about the hero myth as creation myth (or the "cosmogonic cycle" as it's titled) is no less Freudian. Sigh. cdinwood is back around. Nice to see her again. Sounds like her semester coming is mild-to-medium hellish.

There seem to be crazy unfamiliar people on my friends list. I say "crazy" because they appear to like "lambda calculus" and "functional languages" and "PL research" and other such frightfully bizarre things. And I say "people" and "they" despite the definite nonpluralness of my topic because... oh, no reason. I'm just being silly. Hello, catamorphism, whoever you are.
