Oh wow! Ormin was a dragon --- I mean, he was a dragon-man --- or maybe he was just a man... but he was still Ormin! Which, if you look at the etymology, basically means "dragon-man". Anyway, as you'd naturally expect, he wrote a twelfth-century work of Biblical exegesis in a peculiar phonetic orthography which reveals a lot about the spoken English of his time.
