Train/roadtrip up to north Jersey to talk to some AT&T research people who attempted to make several of us less ignorant about how big ISP-scale network management actually works in practice. It was pretty awesome; mainly Brian Rexroad talking for, I don't know, like a total of several hours I think with a lot of good questions back and forth and I was never once bored. Bumped into shobha of all people just as we were getting there and getting lunch at the cafeteria. Somehow I didn't know she worked there? It is a mystery.
