Today went by the Art Institute Museum, which

  1. Has free admission on thursday nights, sweet.
  2. Is amazingly big. I was darting from exhibit to exhibit and I think maybe I saw a little over a half of what was even available to see, and that doesn't count all their modern and much of their impressionist collection which is under renovation.

Particular favorite pieces included Bouguereau's "Bathers", Lefebvre's "Odalisque", Ivan Albright's "Picture of Dorian Gray", Charles Green Shaw's "Polygons", and Charles Howard's "Trinity".

Afterwords had a very enjoyable dinner with teki and his girlfriend whose name I tragically forgot. She had some particularly good grading/teaching horror stories.
