Jody Aliesan has a poem named "Vintage" that goes like this:

I've learned from making wine
and watching gardens
there are things we cannot hurry
if we want to taste them ripe,
and sweet, and natural.
Today the vines leaned heavy
and our glasses sat full.
Sometime in our lives
I want to lie and hold you;
but we'll drink that wine
when the thirst comes.

Had some good conversations with various people yesterday. Today neal and leslie came by visiting from Baltimore, bringing "El Grande" with them. Hadn't played it before; it's a pretty good game.
