There is this "Art in Transit" project that got funding to put little 28"x11" placards in Pittsburgh city buses with art on them instead of the usual advertising. The deadline was just yesterday, so I scrambled wednesday night to put something together, cheating a little bit by reusing some of my old material from the screenprinting stuff I had done before. Still I'm pretty happy with it:

Here you will find a funny parody of the way biblical literalism has tried to position itself as a reasonable epistemological alternative to certain ideas derived from observation of the physical universe, and in particular the living systems found in it.

Stylistically it reminds me a lot of Hofstadter's "Person Paper" (a favorite of mine) in giving a controversy an analogy-paid vacation to a slightly different --- but still pertinent --- domain.
