Man, the roads outside are pretty awful and icy. I hope pete gets back home okay. Martin and I skidded into the curb on the way back to my house, and I fell into a puddle a couple times just walking up the sidewalk.

Knuth 3:16 is old but hilarious. Gunnlaugur SE Briem was one of the calligraphers who contributed to Knuth's book "3:16 Bible Texts Illuminated", and he has a neat page full of information about calligraphy and typeface design.
While googling for "Knuth 3:16" I found this wiki. I'm not sure what its deal is, but you may want to mull it over.
