Feeling kind of bummed.
I think my mistake was listening to and playing certain pieces of music. Even ones that I absolutely love, but which are potentially poison for my mood.

I think I totally forgot to set my alarm last night, because, well, it didn't go off. I have been known to turn off the alarm and promptly go back to sleep, though.

Fortunately, I woke up around 8:45, with enough time to hurry over to campus and study a tiny bit for the japanese test. It went pretty well; forgot ten-ten on a hiragana ga here and there but I think I caught all such errors on the second pass. Not too sure how I did on the listening section, but probably not too bad.

The piano in Mudge is nicely in tune and not broken. More than I can say for the Porter one. On a good day I am now able to play five straight beats per measure improvising melody against the bouncy left hand part of Take Five! Woo for practice paying off. Hopefully my brain will not cleave in two.

Got lunch, went back to lounge. Really need to finish Hard-Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World so I can start the book cdinwood lent me.

Went down to the strip with Sal, got a 10lb. of rice from Lotus. Picked up Sally's friend Diana, went over to Barnes & Noble's. Thankfully I resisted buying anything. Reading queue too long already. Ordered some pizza from Del's, on the way to pick it up Sally got a call from a yet another friend of hers that needed picked up from shadyside hostpital since he was hit by a truck while on his bike. Thankfully he didn't seem to badly hurt, but the bicycle was pretty trashed. Ate the pizza while Diana told me about the Sims. There are times that I am grateful for never booting into anything but linux, for I would be quite tempted to play such games.
