Yesterday made some sauce and meatballs from scratch from some random recipe I found on the internet (here and here, modified by reducing tomato puree from 2 to 1 cans, and increasing garlic to about 4 cloves) and it turned out pretty great actually. I suspect the generous amount of parmesan in both the meat and the sauce helped the flavor a lot.

Today managed to catch up with skamille a bit. Always nice to have a fairly detailed conversation about engineering management and career stuff with someone who's clearly thought about it pretty carefully for a long time.
