The inference stuff still looks good. I emailed
Frank to ask if it's still of any interest without
alpha occurring under lolli.

Hacked up a metafont for prtsye. I typeset the first
couple lines of the story so far, (in fact ped.pl
automagically spits out correct TeX) and it looks quite decent.
