Had an xmas dinner with Karolina's family; the traditional terrifying fried fish with tiny asshole chokey bones (carp) was replaced with delicious boneless fillets of perch. Polish-style barszcz is still kinda too peppery for my taste. Also I guess I just plain don't like beets that much. I certainly appreciate being had over for dinner one way or another though.
