Arjun the grad student I'd worked with at Penn on my postdoc was in town for a couple days; hung out at The Uncommons and played some board games with K and him and some of his nyc friends. We played Pandemic on medium and lost, due to our hubris thinking one of the cured (but not yet eradicated) diseases didn't actually need to be worried about that much. "Pix" was a cute pixel pictionary variant. "The Resistance" is a Mafia-like, which I don't normally go for, but somehow I managed to win as Spy, since I succeeded at acting the part of hapless newb enough for nobody to suspect me.

Afterwards got some bánh mì nearby, which was tasty but left me feeling quite sick all night.
