K got a recipe for some black bean "burgers" that was popular among some of her favored-internet-forum friends. Seemed like a mexican-food analog of falafel, so I felt sort of intrigued. Turned out not entirely bad but not really exciting either. Would try something like it again if it involved more frying instead of baking.
