Ventured out to governor's island; the unfortunate bits were (a) the whole outside circuit road was not actually open as we'd heard, some parts were still closed off, and (b) it was pretty hot, but it was still nice enough to tootle around on rentabikes and whatever. My arms are a touch sunburned now, but I'll live.
