Feeling kind of stressed out with family stuff. Am very thankful for noodling around on the piano lately as a coping mechanism. I know that (a) it's probably kind of a cliche overplayed classical piece and (b) anyhow it is written for cello and not piano and so it's not terrifically difficult and (c) I can't usually get through it without a mistake or two anyway but dang if Bach's Cello Prelude No. 1 isn't just a pleasure to play through. It's nice enough to listen to, but so much better to feel it coming out, the melodies dancing around on the fingers the way they do.
