Some stuff got cleared up at work.

Well, hm. I can only get the distributed stuff running in one direction,
which is really weird. It seemed that maybe the problem was that the
nameserver was binding to localhost rather than INET_ANY, but fixing
that didn't make clients runnable from shelah when the mandelbrot server
was running on erdos. I'm still vaguely suspicious of the method used to
uniquify names (maybe the "user" on erdos and shelah is different, even
if they're both "godel"? maybe it's by uid? donno) but even besides that,
something smells funny.

Oh well. I have enough demo material to show of the join-calculus features
of Jocaml, I think, and enough slides.

K was going to do a thing for her dad's birthday, but scheduling kept slipping and slipping so I guess we're going to try doing it tomorrow instead.
