Then things get weirder. Johnny Depp plays an accountant from Cleveland named William Blake, arriving in a company town somewhere on the frontier, only to find the job he was promised is already taken. Then things get worse. Gary Farmer's "Nobody" steals every fucking scene he's in, except for the one with Iggy Pop. Weirdnesses abound, approaching --- but mercifully not quite reaching --- Lynchian levels. (8/10)
