Abramsky's Retracing some paths in process algebra (which neelk mentioned) is really interesting.

I am intrigued by this place Mixto. Maybe should try to hit it up for dinner one of these nights. Also European Republic.

Lightning talks are a bit hit or miss. Some are good fast summaries of an interesting thing, some seem more like someone tried to smoosh an entire half-hour talk down to 4 minutes.

    Had some dinner at Aliada with akiva and sasha and K, and afterwards saw Herzog's "Aguirre, the Wrath of God" in Socrates park. Enjoyably bleak.
