I didn't feel like there was much unifying narrative to the film, but it didn't bother me. What holds it together is just its subject matter, and the truth about cities is that they do different things and go about their business in different ways. It's mostly a bunch of little stories about slums and planning and organizations and protests and public transportation systems and so on as they play out in individual contemporary cities. Probably nothing's ever going to quite take Helvetica's place in my heart, but I enjoyed this one. (7/10)

Upstairs had a party, so the noise level was unfuckingbelievable. We went to the New Museum, was quite impressed by the Jim Shaw exhibit.
