bhudson, you'll have to tell me if you find http://jcreed.org/math/weather/ makes any sense out of the algebraic line noise you're used to. :)It seemed slightly clearer in my head before I tried to write it up, but maybe it's still useful/entertaining to others.
I really do continue to enjoy this sort of math-doodling.
