Had a weird feeling of enlightenment by finally feeling in my guts that tensors really are just the most natural generalization of multiple-input and -output functions in linear-algebra world. I always kind of knew it, but I finally --- as von Neumann is supposed to have said --- got used to it.

I have yet to see an explanation of what a tensor is that actually moves me, rather than being a page of algebraic line noise.
