Had some Eat'n'Park for breakfast and it really hit the spot. Randomly bumped into rmitz and qiika on the way out and said hi. It's a pity I can't hit up carnival too; lots of other people it would be nice to see.

I mostly succeeded at zoning out for the bus ride, except for:

  • Dude, if I can hear your music in your headphones over my music in my headphones being played at top volume, your music is too loud. Or maybe my cellphone is too puny to amplify music very loud. Maybe a little of one, a little of the other.
  • Dude, (n.b., different dude) you are a fully grown adult dude, why do you sound like a caffeinated squirrel when you are laughing. Stop that.

Now, by no particular conscious decision, I haven't eaten at a Subway in a really long time. I was pretty hungry by the time we got to the rest stop at like 3pm, so I had the chance to discover that they some time ago started the practice of optionally toasting your sandwich, I guess? It makes for a significant tastiness improvement. Still kinda mediocre, but what are you gonna do at a rest stop in the middle of eastern Penna.

Anyway, I am home now. Starting to feel more like spring outside, which I am way in favor of.
