My first impression was: the simplifications they tried to apply to what Frank and I had written up originally broke some desirable generality properties. Although the more I thought about it (and the more simrob explained) the more it seemed like the breakage was actually really interesting and illuminating.Got to hang out with
madmadammim and her bf for a while after that at Waffalonia. Really great to see sally; I think it's been like over a year since I saw her last. Back to the important topic of waffles, I think I actually enjoyed Waffalonia's interpretation even better than the Wafels and Dinges truck. Larger, I suspect cheaper, and less face-obliteratingly sweet. I got mine with strawberries and whipped cream, and it was around $4 if memory serves. (8/10)In the evening went to a SRatSR show at the Garfield Artworks. It was a bit weird since the audience was 99.44% people I personally knew, and I felt some pity for the next band in case it was the case that nearly all of us left, which I don't know if that was the case, because I left. Anyway, tom'n'nels are really sounding pretty tight these days. Good old tunes, good new tunes, and some wicked solos. Any of yinz around for the show next weekend should totally go to it if you are trufans.

wjl's place, where I fear I was kinda carelessly rude to the happy-more-boisterous people in my effort to achieve near-silent laser-focus on some neat logic stuff being talked about. Anyway hopefully not a big deal. Excellent to get in some hanging-out time at last with chrisamaphone for sure.Tried to go get some kind of standard half-price with
gwillen, but both fuel and joe's were totally packed. Opted for EVEN MORE SORRENTO'S which did not disappoint.Quite a full day; and an excellent last full day of an excellent trip.
