I feel inclined to like this RSA Animate video about rewards and motivation because (a) it confirms my pre-existing beliefs about monetary rewards (beyond the (on a global scale, I admit, very considerable) level of material comfort that I already enjoy) not motivating me all that well, and (b) it's RSA Animate, and I am a sucker for cartoony whiteboard drawings. I would like to know what paper they're talking about, though, because I found the talk's description of what the actual experimental setup was to be painfully inadequate.
