Don Caballero, where have you been all my life? Or like why did I not get around to listening to them earlier. I know I had heard of them forever ago, due to techstep.

Currently listening to the album "World Class Listening Problem". \m/

Other bands to try listening to more, thx grooveshark for suggesting them: Tortoise, I'm Not A Gun, Mercury ProjectProgram, Mice Parade

My favorite Don Cab albums are Singles Breaking Up, Vol. 1 and What Burns Never Returns. If you like them, you'll probably like other math rock bands. Pittsburgh has a bunch of great ones: Hurl, Shale, Blunderbuss, Creta Bourzia, and (The) Control Group come to mind. Other bands you might like: Cheer-Accident, Chavez, Slint, Battles, Shellac, June of 44, The Dismemberment Plan, and Taking Pictures (most of the members of Hurl, but in Chicago).

You sure you don't mean The Mercury Program?

Try listening to this one: http://carriedouttosea.blogspot.com/2010/07/duck-little-brother-duck-survival-is.html
I would call it "possibly the best album of 2010" though I am not qualified to make such assertions. Try out L. Ron Hubbard (probably the first and last time I will ever write that sentence).

( Side note, also liked this one, more just straight rock but interesting: http://www.spanishforeggs.com/2010/08/amaranth-california-demon-2010.html )
( Side note, best drums ever: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sX_Iij8Eyts )

Oh yes "Program", oops. And for another first-and-last sort of sentence, L. Ron Hubbard fuckin' rocks. Thanks for pointing me to it.

Also oh yeah Flim is great. Were you already familiar with the original Aphex Twin version?

I heard it a few times, so I guess so. The Bad Plus version is slower. The piano almost sounds like something RDJ himself could have written for Drukqs. Wikipedia says that the piano was computer-controlled.
